After your appointment, it is important to understand how to care for your lashes and what to expect.
The natural lash cycles approximately every 6 weeks. Because of this, you will see shedding of lashes in the amount of 2-3 per day on average.
Immediately after leaving
After leaving your appointment you can shower, swim, go in the sauna and do hot yoga.
Today you received 150-200 #NovaLash extensions per eye.
Cleaning
Use #cleanLash by #NovaLash, 3-in-1 makeup remover, cleanser & conditioner system to cleanse lashes free of makeup and other debris every night. The pads are saturated with pomegranate seed oil to moisturize and condition extensions so they remain radiant and flexible.
Care
Use the #LASHwand to brush you extensions every morning and night to reduce tangling and flipping of the extensions. Avoid the use of cleansers and eye makeup removers that contain solvent-like ingredients such as glycols and carbonates, as they can reduce the wear time of your new lashes.
Things to Avoid
Avoid pulling, picking or twisting lash extensions. This can cause damage to the natural lashes and may lead to premature shedding of your extensions.
Curling of #NovaLash Eyelash Extensions is not recommended. The extensions come pre-curled so additional curling is not necessary and doing so may shorten the lifespan of the extensions.
Excessive salt water can breakdown the NovaLash® adhesive. This includes ocean water, salt water pools, sweat, and tears. These are all highly concentrated with salt. We all love swimming in the ocean with where we live, but if you find yourself going to the ocean or taking a dip be sure to wear goggles, clean the lashes immediately after, or coat the lashes with NovaLash® CleanLash prior to your outing.
Makeup
Use only mascara by #NovaLash on your lash extensions to blend in natural lashes with extension when a touch-up appointment is needed. This water-soluble, hypoallergenic formula was developed specifically for use with #NovaLash Eyelash Extensions.
Waterproof mascara should not be used.
Visit your professionals at #Lashes for touch-ups monthly or when you notice about 50% of the extensions have grown out.
